Eleven others were reportedly injured in the 3 a.m. incident during a concert hosted by a motorcycle club known as The Lords. Among the dead is the gunman, who turned the gun on himself.

Some 150 people were attending the event, thelocal.at reported.

The 27-year-old man had reportedly been arguing with a woman in a nearby parking lot. When it escalated, he allegedly got a gun from his car and started shooting at the crowd in the open-air venue.

Nenzing Mayor Florian Kasseroler said “a stampede broke out” during the shooting with people fleeing into neighboring forests and fields, even onto a nearby highway.

After killing two people and injuring eleven others, he then returned to the car and shot himself, authorities said.

It is not yet known whether the shooter had a gun license.

Nenzing Police spokeswoman Susanne Dilp said the injuries were “very diverse” but she could not confirm how severe they are.

Police said “two men from the region, 33 and 48 years old” were killed. One of the injured is reported to be in critical condition, CNN reported.

The identity of the gunman and victims have not yet been released.

Dilp said the woman involved in the argument with the gunman was not injured in the attack.
